| "'In Ecstasy' is a book for meditation and solitude that mirrors the state of creative process I have in the studio. Searching for inspiration and answers is done in solitude.
The questions I have about my place in the world, why I'm here and where I'm going are sought from the fragments of paint, collage and stains that rise up from the floor in the studio.
I've used floor tiles to print grids to focus on system I can hang onto to conjure up a vision. It's the process of finding creative solutions on my own that solve my embrace of this mystery. Kafka’s text is instructional and mystical. It leaves you at the edge of a void to peer into for the search in absolutely nothing."
